Welcome to my website. If you are looking for information on high intensity, low yardage training, please look around. There is a link to an entire season of high school swimming using strict USRPT. This will provide workouts for 15 weeks of training. Please understand that the nature of the USRPT is individualized. So the competition uploading and preparation will have to be tailored to each individual swimmer.
There is a link to a swim coaches exchange on Facebook above. They are roughly 3000 members of this group. The subject matter and coaches that contribute to this group are extremely informative. The movement toward this type of training is developing momentum. I find many more coaches open to this type of training now than ever before. This training is not just for high-level swimmers. It can also be used very effectively for development of swimmers. In fact it is highly recommended for developmental swimmers since the emphasis is on technique and body awareness. On this site are also: Race Pace Worksheet Sample Logsheet A season macrocycle A general training blog An age group season plan |
